Know-how is an essential part of many inventions. Providing someone with the specifications of an invention is often not enough. This agreement is specifically designed to be used with an agreement on know-how and technical support. An optional timetable is included in this document for the annexation of the know-how and technical assistance agreement. It is recommended to do so, but if for some reason you do not wish to attach a copy of the agreement, the simple cross-reference also included in this document will suffice. A licensor will try to make the most of the agreement of a particular design, while a licensee will try to keep costs low. An inventor may choose to manufacture the product himself or through a third party to manufacture the product for his company.
